Comply and Spin-fit tips are a nice bonus addition.

You also get 2 cables, both 3.5mm Single ended and 2.5mm Balanced cables for Astell Kern players standard balanced output.

The balance cable was a very welcome addition as most manufacturers do not supply both cables as standard.

Connectors for the cables are standard MMCX so you can use your own after market cables if you prefer.

The cable feel is high quality and slightly weighted, it is thick and soft to the touch. They feature both a chin slider and a rubber clip to hold the cables when wrapped.

At the connector there is memory wire and the design is a little different and reminiscent of the MDR-EX1000 by Sony.

Thankfully the connectors fit tight and are standard MMCX so use of aftermarket cables is a possibility. These fit over the ears, feel comfortable and stay in-place.

It took a while for me to attain a good seal, eventually settling on the grey supplied stock tips.

I experienced hardly any micro phonics and these stayed secure while on the move.

Overall I think the accessory selection is excellent and can’t see any further addition required.

    Nice looking little beasts.
Be interesting to hear how they match against Sony Z5/MDR1000, and others in that price range.
Assume the build quality is top notch?

Yes build quality is excellent. Z5 has wider soundstage but DK-3001 has fuller lower end extension. If you get a good fit these are a great IEM
