- Fantastic build and design, Great cable included, tuning switches to provide extra signature styles
Cons
- May be out of some peoples price range - but then again this is a flagship product.
- Would have preferred a pelican case to offer better storage/access
Digital Audio Player Parings:
Using the AK380CU the Flamenco signature was detailed and quite spacious sounding, supporting the technical skills of the earphone.
Using the Lotoo Paw Gold Titanium Edition the Flamenco pairing worked very well. The signatures treble presence was more striking and feels very well balanced.
Using the Altmann Tera Player the Flamenco signature was natural sounding with a full weighty richness but lacking in some detail at times.
Using the Sony WM-1Z flagship player midrange was fuller and more engaging, bass tight and clean. Detail precise.
The rest of my review is based on this Sony WM-1Z pairing using the Ares II supplied cable and both tuning switches disabled.
