Asking the engineers about their thoughts on the Mach 60 model:

The Mach 60 in similar in some respects to the Mach 50 but has more high-frequency detail. Overall, this might be the most balanced earphone in the line.

The Mach 60, much like the W60 has a familiar balance of driver configuration.

This seems to be the sweet spot in the Mach Series where everything just works for a range of audiences, from newbie to mid tier listener to audiophile aficionado.

Tight, clean and powerful, you cant go wrong with the Mach 60.

Recognising how seminal the W60’s have been in the last 5 years, sets a high bar for Lucid Audio to scale.

Thankfully the magic hands of their engineers, invigorated with a newfound purpose, following the steer of Lucid Audio have done proud, to the legacy of the W60’s.

Somehow 6 drivers seem to be a perfect number, not lacking and not over complicating things. Many who have sampled the Mach series prefer the Mach 60 over all of the models in the range and you can see why.

The Mach 60s balanced tuning has a natural character without any brightness experienced at all, expertly tuned for full musical enjoyment. Never having to think or concentrate too much on the technicalities, audio pleasure is at the forefront of this desirable earphone.

Bass hits tight and has a touch of feathering when recovering from fast transients, resulting in a pace that adds to the effortless ease of listening. The bass weight is sizeable but not dominant to mask other ranges, the right amount of power to compliment the listening experience.

Clarity of instruments and vocals are again aligned perfectly across the sound spectrum showing their strengths when needed but fully coherent with range presence. The mid range has a more blended natural character balance, showing off some rich verve giving rise to a slight warmth and ease of fluidity.

I have yet to meet anyone who has not been a fan of the W60 signature and I am confident I can say the same about the Mach 60 sound signature, if you are on the fence about which model in the Mach series to buy then this is one that has all bases covered.

A tried and tested Stoic wise clan member, insightful and mature, yet bold and not afraid to speak up, the Mach 60’s carve up the airwaves with expert moves.

Reliable, well controlled and precise.
