The team at earphonia.com were fortunate enough to be given the chance to review two of the latest earphone offerings from Campfire Audio, the Polaris 2019 edition and the rich red IO earphones.

Thanks goes to the team at ALO Audio/Campfire Audio for giving us the chance to experience these excellent new products.

As our fans know, we have great respect for the guys at Campfire Audio and their Andromeda, Solaris and Vega earphones really are something special.

Lets jump straight into the review:

So what is it you get for your hard earned money.

earphonia.com Campfire Audio Polaris 2019 edition earphone unboxing video below:

As you can see the packaging is there new open box treasure style, securely protecting the dark blue shells of the Polaris II earphone.

The shell design is classic the Campfire Audio shape that we have all grown to love and made famous with the Andromeda model.

Having an solid aluminium body  with a anodized finish in Cerulean blue and black stainless steel spout/nozzle, you know your friends will be drooling over these and asking you about them.

Although bold, they maintain a reserved classy feel and only draw attention in an elegant non-intrusive way.

Inside the shells are 9.2mm dynamic drivers coupled with the a polarity tuned chamber for delivering a cohesive efficient delivery of sound.

The Polaris II is very strong and should last for a number of years if well cared for.

Below is a video showing the shells in more detail from all angles.

A premium leather case is supplied to protect these great looking IEMs when not in use.

The cable has a smokey outer style and is Litz in composition, using silver plated copper conductors with berylium copper MMCX  connectors and a Single ended and 3.5mm Stereo Plug supplied. There is also ear-hook shape without the use of memory wire, which is a welcome feature as I am not a fan of memory wire.

Fit is nice and secure, without and cutout issues when on the move.

The nozzle size has a cleaner less round barrel than previous Campfire Audio earphones,, resulting in a more comfortable in ear fit experience.

Also supplied are:

Final Audio Tips (xs/s/m/l/xl)

Campfire Audio Marshmallow Tips (s/m/l)

Silicon Earphone Tips (s/m/l)

Campfire Audio Lapel Pin

Cleaning Tool

Shell protector material pouch.

The overall package is certainly impressive and the tip selection means you wont need to buy aftermarket tips as quite a decent selection is supplied.
