As our fans know, we have great respect for the guys at Campfire Audio and their Andromeda, Vega, Comet and Atlas earphones really are something special.

Known for their unique design and tuning maturity in the audio circles, ALO Audio/Campfire Audio really know what they are doing.

Building on their audio engineering knowledge Campfire Audio released a very unique earphone a couple of years ago, the Solaris earphone.

Not only looking to evolve their sound tuning but also looking at all aspects of design, style and build quality.

We were very excited to be giving the opportunity to sample their 2020 revision of the Original Campfire Audio Solaris earphone.

The development of the Solaris 2020 is the result of 3 years of knowledge gained from the tuning experience and customer feedback received on the original Solaris edition.

We know that Ken and his knowledgeable team are passionate about continually improving their earphone tuning and designs.

The earphonia.com team are very excited to see how this awesome looking earphone performs and the differences with the original edition.

Thanks goes to the team at ALO Audio/Campfire Audio for giving us the chance to experience this excellent, great looking new earphone.

We have shared opening these sealed beauties with you all in one of our classic earphonia.com Campfire Audio Solaris 2020 unboxing Video’s:

As shown in the video above, the items included with the Campfire Audio Solaris are:

Campfire Audio Premium Cork Case

The cork case is made from sustainable materials and has an interesting matt texture which is very tactile to the feel.

The case has a solid zipper mechanism and soft material wool type interior. When closed the case has firm structure and should be suitable for protecting and carrying your  Solaris 2020 earphone. The overall feel and aesthetics of the case have an organic natural feel.

Campfire Audio Super Litz Cable

There is a different Super Smoky Litz Cable supplied with the Solaris 2020 edition,  it still has the  Silver Plated Conductors and uses multi diameter stranding with Berylium Copper MMCX and 3.5mm Single ended Stereo right angled plug.

The MMXC connectors still have cable indicators for left and right connection verification. The Super Smokey Litz cable has four  conductors composed of silver plated copper with individually enamelled wires. The braiding is tighter on the lower half and then looser on the top half.

Pre-formed ear hooks are used instead of  memory wire which is a welcome change, these are comfortable and work well with all ear shapes and sizes.

The connectors have good precision and fit securely to the Solaris along with other earphones we tried, cable micro-phonics are negligible and signature synergy is well suited for this earphone.

Tips and Accessories:

The tips selection covers a wide range and includes one of favourite types the Final Audio E-Type Tips (xs/s/m/l/xl)

As well as Campfire Audio Marshmallow Earphone Tips (s/m/l) and Silicon Earphone Tips (s/m/l)

A Campfire Audio Lapel Pin, Cleaning Tool and  Earphone Protection Sleeves are also included.
