The packaging is almost identical to the RE2000 with the branded outer sleeve and hard latch case protecting the earphones and accessories.

Inside is a strong faux leather hard case with a luxurious looking brushed gold effect metal plate showing the model’s details.

It is a solid elegant case with a reassuring quality feel to it.

Important Audio Credit: The audio in the background for all the videos is from https://pitp.bandcamp.com/album/departing-in-descent please support them and purchase their beautiful music, you will not be dissappointed.

The back of the sleeve shows the specifications along with the company contact information.

Opening the box shows the cable box, tips and hard small carry case.

Inside the hard case, the Svanar earphones are protected with machined foam to protect them when in transit.

The case is very tight and takes quite a bit of effort to open, there is no chance that it will open by accident, rest assured.

The earphones have recessed two pin IEM standard connectors which provide the welcome support for aftermarket cables.

Unfortunately, once again no balanced cables are provided which is a shame as it would have been great to see some included so you can get the most out of these earphones straight from the box. That said the cable is of decent quality and very similar if not the same as the RE2000 one.

A comprehensive booklet is included covering the journey that hifiman have been on and their development acheivements.

Ear guides are also included along with a set of cable connector parts for creating your own cables that will be guaranteed to fit perfectly.

Having a 3.5mm Single Ended L plug design is nice and should last longer and protect you DAP port from any unwanted knocks.

Lets take a look at the shells.
