SR1
$499Pros
- Great Value, Removable Cables, Quality Leather Headband
- Excellent design style and build quality, light weight
- Powerful warm open natural sound signature
Cons
- Limited availability might make these hard to get
- Cable screw jack for 3.5 will protrude from source and cannot be flush
- Source dependent, Stock earpads congest signature but easy fix with perforate pads
The team at earphonia.com are excited to be reviewing the excellent quality newly released SR1 headphone from respected audio manufacturer iBasso Audio.
Thanks goes to the team for giving us the chance to experience this gorgeous looking new Headphone.
This is the first headphone release from iBasso Audio and the first ever Headphone to use silicon suspension drivers, so this is certainly something special.
Below shows how the components interface.
This model is limited to 500 units so I suspect these will sell out very quickly as they are priced very reasonably at $499.

Note: The 4.4mm balanced cable does not come with the package and we picked this up separately.
Great review. I feel that the review team balanced the need to be fair to the company while most importantly being honest about what they were hearing. I am excited to try this headphone. Nice photography as always.
