The team at earphonia.com will be reviewing the latest universal earphones from the new Westone Audio W Series Gen 2 range over the coming weeks.

Following on from the success of their original W Series earphones these certainly look to be an exciting range and all of the models in the range have Bluetooth Cables included using aptX technology.

The models in the range are the:

W10 -The Westone W10 features a full-range, single balanced-armature driver with 122 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 20Hz – 16kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 19 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB Passive Noise Attenuation

w20 -The Westone W20 features a full-range, dual balanced-armature driver with 117 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 20Hz – 18kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 33 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB Passive Noise Attenuation

w40 -The Westone W40 features a full-range, four balanced-armature driver with 118 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 10Hz – 18kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 31 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB Passive Noise Attenuation

w60 -The Westone W60 features a full-range, six balanced-armature driver with 117 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 10Hz – 20kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 25 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB Passive Noise Attenuation

w80 -The Westone W80 features a full-range, eight balanced-armature driver with 111 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 5Hz – 22kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 5 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB Passive Noise Attenuation

They also have the B Series range covering the 2 other driver configurations:

B30 -The Westone B30 features a full-range, three balanced-armature driver with 117 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 15Hz – 18kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 110 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB passive noise attenuation

B50 – The Westone B50 features a full-range, five balanced-armature driver with 118 dB SPL @ 1mW sensitivity, 10Hz – 20kHz frequency response, and an impedance of 35 ohms @ 1kHz, 25dB passive noise attenuation
